Trash Sailors an Indie Game Treasure

 

    Have you ever wanted to step inside a beautifully drawn story book, and took up the roll of a Trash Sailor?  I know it sounded better with the beautifully drawn story book didn't it?  Well your in luck Cause I have the game for you.  A four person Co-Op arcade type game published by tineyBuild GAMES if your familiar with their games they have some great indie titles.

    One of the games that caught my eye simply because of the in game art was Trash Sailors.  These hand drawn graphics look like something out of a very fun story book.  The game reminds another game called Raft, except more of an arcade experience and up to four players.  So if pulling trash into your boat to build things intrigued you but Raft was too slow of a game.  This game is by no means slow.

    The Trash Sailors ship is compiled of all the trash that had been laying around in the water.  You throw you hooks out pull the trash in and feed it to a trash compactor and use it to fuel your ship, fix the wood that gets smashed off from objects also enemies, and if you play Solo you get a robot companion that you can use scrap to repair him when he first lands on deck.

    The game is a lot of fun solo but it definitely screams Co-Op play with up to 4 people.  You can play solo however, it will be chaos.  If you into games that constantly keep you moving and do things this is definitely got that potential.

    Out of all the games that I played on Steams Next Fest this was definitely one of my favorites.  It is a very fun relaxed with a hint of challenge game that you can play with your friends.  I gave this game a 3 1/2 stars out of 5.  I would definitely put this on my wish list.  Your in luck if you would like to try the game out here is the demo link Trash Sailors Demo
